The School of Arts and Sciences houses an extremely vibrant artistic and cultural community that offers a wealth of opportunities in which the Tufts and local communities can participate. You can explore the newest exhibit at the Tufts University Art Gallery, watch a cutting-edge production at Balch Arena, listen to a spectacular musical performance at the Granoff Music Center or Aidekman Arts Center, seek out the latest performance of one of our six a capella groups, engage in a thought-provoking dialogue following a foreign film, cheer on your favorite band at Brown and Brew, attend an intimate reading by a local writer/author at Tisch Library, laugh with your friends as you watch one of our creative comedy troupes, take lessons to learn how to play the Javanese Gamelan, or host your own show on TUTV, among other activities.
Thanks to our affiliation with the School of the Museum of Fine Arts (SMFA) and the New England Conservatory (NEC), Tufts students enjoy an even more extensive range of opportunities. Tufts students receive an institutional membership to the Museum of Fine Arts (MFA), are able to take classes at the SMFA and NEC, and can attend performances and exhibits at these distinguished institutions.
