Diversity
Diversity is one of the cornerstones of the educational mission of the School of Engineering,
as well as of Tufts University as a whole. We aim to create a healthy and vibrant community of
people from a wide variety of backgrounds, with a wide range of experiences, and with diverse
talents and interests. We are committed to ensuring that all members of our community-students,
faculty, and staff-are able to be productive members of both an increasingly diverse United States
and an increasingly interconnected world. It is essential that we build a diverse community at
Tufts so that we all have the opportunity to learn from each other.
