Addressing Facilities' Needs for Research, Learning, and Living
Prioritize facilities needs in support
of emerging academic programs and disciplines and
new research needs.
Submitted a capital plan to the central
administration and shared that information with
faculty governance committees.
- The highest priorities are the
renovation of Tisch Library common
spaces and Cohen Auditorium and new
facilities for sciences and
interdisciplinary studies. The Tisch
Library plan and Cohen auditorium
renovation plan are moving forward.
Discussions of space for science and
interdisciplinary studies are
ongoing.
- In winter 2013, department
chairs are providing recommendations
to the dean regarding short- and
long-term science facilities needs
on Medford campus.
Continue to evaluate the residential
facilities needs of our undergraduate population in
this very competitive market.
Recommendations have been made for an
international residence hall as part of student
experience strategic planning working group.
