  1. Chinese Art Classes - Traditional Chinese Calligraphy and Painting
     
    Traditional Chinese brush painting uses the same techniques as Chinese calligraphy. It is done by applying a brush dipped in black ink or special Chinese colored pigmentation paint on rice paper. Students in this class will learn about the art of Chinese calligraphy and painting, using traditional Chinese art materials of rice paper, ink, brush and water.

  2. Chinese Musical Instruments Classes
     
    Pipa 琵琶
    Interested in learning an exotic instrument with beautiful sound and rich history? The Chinese Pipa (琵琶), or called the Chinese lute, is one of the oldest Chinese musical instruments with more than 2,000 years old history. Pipa is a four-string plucked instrument, it has a pear shaped body made of wood. Pipa is considered the king of the plucked instruments in China for its various styles and techniques.

    This service provides one-on-one sessions on Chinese Pipa tailored to the level, pace, and time of individuals interested in such service. Each session is 50 minutes long.
