Erica has finished her gap year and will return to Tufts this coming Fall 2015 semester. In 2014, Rigby applied and was selected for the A.S.A. Undergraduate Honors Program, for which she received department assistance to attend. As part of the Undergraduate Honors Program, she flew to San Francisco and attended the conference along with a few dozen other selected undergraduate students from across the country and nearly 6,000 attendees. Over the course of the five days of the conference, she saw research presentations and graduate school sessions, went to dinner with faculty and the program, and toured regional spotlights such as the Alcatraz Prison. Said Rigby, "I liked being around like-minded individuals." At the end of her stay, she presented original research at a roundtable discussion and received a certificate of professional development.
