MPP Celebrates 15 Years and Releases 2016 Report

December 7, 2016

UEP is celebrating the 15th anniversary of our mid-career Master of Public Policy (MPP) program. Since 2002, the MPP program has attracted almost 130 mid-career professionals from the fields of urban, social, and environmental policy.

The recently released 2016 MPP report details the accomplishments of this unique program, which strives to cultivate "practical visionaries" who are committed to building more inclusive, socially just, and sustainable communities. MPP is one of the most diverse graduate programs in the region, with people of color making up half of MPP students.

The MPP offers a diverse, intimate, and caring learning community for 10-15 students each year. Our students return to school to enhance their professional practice, pursue a shift in career, or simply create space for reflection and rejuvenation. MPP offers a flexible curriculum that can be completed in 1-3 years.

MPP students and alumni are an invaluable resource. The contributions of the MPP network on the UEP community was most recently seen at the UEP Colloquium in October on "Making Black Lives Matter Through Planning and Policy."
