Tufts English department Lecturer Grace Talusan is the winner of the 2017 Restless Books Prize for New Immigrant Writing for Nonfiction, for her memoir The Body Papers. Scheduled to be published in the Fall of 2018, The Body Papers is "a brave, artful memoir about trauma, illness, and immigration as told through personal and official documentation."

Jayanthi Mistry, Associate Professor of the Eliot-Pearson Department of Child Study and Human Development, edited a special section on Asian American children and youth in Child Development, the premier journal in the field of Child Development. Mistry also contributed a research article to this issue.
