Fellowships and Scholarships
There are a number of opportunities at Tufts for students to apply for fellowships and other scholarships. Some of these opportunities are below – more are offered every year, and this list is updated accordingly, but there may be additional opportunities not reflected here.
- Community Fellowship
Focus on impacting GSAS culture for greater diversity and peer support, provides $4,000 per semester in stipends - Graduate Student Research Competition
Up to $1,000 available for research, deadlines in Fall and Spring - Graduate Student Travel Fund
Up to $400 for students presenting at conferences, and up to $200 for students attending conferences, year-round - Graduate Travel Support Program, Office of the Provost
Delta airlines flight vouchers for students who are giving a talk at a conference, participating in a national disciplinary meeting which is also an academic job market vehicle, or undertaking dissertation research at the destination; available year-round - Graduate Student Open Access Publishing Fund
Covers portions of the author's submission fee to open-access journals; available year-round - Three Minute Thesis and Graduate Student Research Symposium
