Biography: 

Pamela Bower-Basso is a working artist and full-time faculty member in the Art Education program, which spans the Department of Education and the School of the Museum of Fine Arts at Tufts University. Since 1990, Pam has been teaching courses at Tufts for undergraduates and graduate students leading to licensure for teaching visual art at the elementary and secondary school levels. Pam earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Brown University and a Master of Arts degree in Art Education from the Rhode Island School of Design. Her prior teaching experience includes twelve years as art specialist at Belmont Day School and art teacher at a public junior high school in Arlington, Massachusetts. Pam has also taught courses and workshops for adults and children at a number of museums and community art centers in the Boston area.
