Physics Education Track

Students with a strong background in physics may consider the M.S. or Ph.D. in Physics Education, program tracks designed in collaboration with the Department of Physics and Astronomy, which combines curricula from the two departments.

Student formally enroll in either Education or Physics and Astronomy as their "home department," which is responsible for monitoring and guiding the student's progress and for providing financial, academic and professional support and guidance.

Upon entry into the program, each student is assigned two program advisors, one from the Department of Education and one from the Department of Physics. Program advisors help students choose courses, internships, and research activities.
