Contact and Directions
On foot from Davis Station (red line):
It's a 23-minute walk up College Avenue or a straight shot on the 96 bus. The Eliot-Pearson's Children School and the Eliot-Pearson Department of Child Study and Human Development have separate entrances on the same side of the building.
Tufts also operates a free shuttle from Davis Square to campus, leaving every 20-30 minutes.
Park on College Avenue right across from the department if you find a spot, or use the Parking Garage at Dowling Hall, 419 Boston Avenue. The parking lots in front of, behind, and across the street from the department require special parking stickers.
About the neighborhood:
Tufts is located near the Davis Square T stop on the Red Line, which connects us to Harvard (2 stops away), MIT (2 more stops), and downtown Boston. Davis Square is one of the most vibrant spots in Cambridge/Somerville, featuring such neighborhood favorites as the Diesel Cafe, movies and concerts at the Somerville Theater, ice cream at JP Licks, and pizza and candlepin bowling at Flatbread/Sacco's Bowl Haven. A bike path runs through Davis that connects with the popular Minuteman Bikeway.
