Chile and Latin American in a Changing World

Friday, September 27, 2019 - 12:00am

Sep 27, 2019

This one day Symposium will bring to Tufts local, national and international scholars, as well as activists who have done cutting edge work on the history of Chile particularly on its struggles for social justice. Their reflections on and analysis of Chile's past include struggles over diversity common to many Latin American countries, including conflicts over gender, class and ethnicity, notably with indigenous peoples like the Mapuche.
