National Arab Orchestra in Concert: Films of Mohamed Bayoumi

Tufts Music & the Center for Arabic Culture present the National Arab Orchestra (NAO) in their Boston premiere. The NAO performs an original film score written by founder & director Michael Ibrahim to accompany rarely-seen silent films from the 1920s & 30s by Egyptian director Mohamed Bayoumi. This event is part of a two-day symposium celebrating Arab culture and music. Co-sponsored by the Tufts Arabic program and the Center for the Humanities at Tufts and made possible by the Granoff Music Fund.
