Research/Areas of Interest: Clinical Psychology


Corrine Mahoney Kavanaugh is a Lecturer in the Psychology Department, where she currently teaches PSY106. In addition to her work at Tufts, Dr. Mahoney Kavanaugh is the Clinical Coordinator for the Framingham Public Schools and provides consultation and support to the district regarding mental health concerns. Corrine received her doctorate in Counseling and School Psychology at Northeastern University. She completed her doctoral internship at Cambridge Health Alliance/Harvard Medical School in Adult General Psychiatry Outpatient Service and Child and Adolescent Ambulatory Services. Corrine completed her postdoctoral fellowship at the Warren Alpert Brown Medical School through Bradley Hospital in Psychopathology in Therapeutic Schools. Prior to internship, she worked at college counseling and community outpatient centers. Corrine's interests include child and adolescent mental health, especially providing trainings and developing systems and programs to address emotional and behavioral concerns within families and communities.
