UEP MA graduate Cara Foster Karim excels in dual roles as an urban planner and a practicing artist. Her artistic endeavors have recently earned her the esteemed title of November's Artist of the Month by the Somerville Arts Council.

The research modeling project, supported by the Tufts University Scholars at Risk (SAR) program, offers fellowships for global scholars, artists, and writers.

This fall, UEP welcomed 10 mid-career Masters of Public Policy students, each with a minimum of 7 years professional experience. This cohort, featuring five Neighborhood Fellows, will enrich UEP by sharing insights from their unban leadership background.

The purpose of the research is to highlight the use of digital mapping and GIS in combination with 3D geo-visualization for depicting landscapes and cultural heritage sites.
