Chris is a bird guy at University of Connecticut. A long-term friend since our Reno days, Michael and Chris collaborate on a variety of topics (mostly birds and extinction, but they are open to anything that interests them and allows occasional birding.

Dave is an orchid guy at the Durrell Institute of Conservation and Ecology, University of Kent. Michael and Dave have been working on several projects involving extinction.
Michael Romero
Michael is a stress physiologist who works mostly on birds (but is not a birder). They work on various projects related to stress and conservation.
Stephen Levine
Steve is a systems modeler. Michael and Steve work on problems of population dynamics.
Richard Vogel
Rich is a statistician who works on water systems, particularly extreme events. Michael and Rich have worked on extinction modeling and climate change.
