Lab Opportunities

Postdoctoral Fellow

A postdoctoral position is available in the Addiction Neuroscience Lab at Tufts University to investigate the neurobiological mechanisms underlying individual differences in responsivity to stress and alcohol. This research project uses an integrative approach that combines anatomical, neurocircuit, and pharmacological approaches with biochemical and behavioral analyses. The ideal candidate will have experience in rodent models of stress and/or alcohol drinking/exposure, plus one or more of the above techniques. The successful candidate will be mentored toward research independence in their chosen area of specialization. Review of applications will begin immediately. The initial post-doctoral appointment is for 2 years with a possibility for extension. The post-doctoral fellow will work in a collaborative environment in the Greater Boston area and receive a starting stipend above NIH level.
