Two UEP students receive awards from the Sheldon Krimsky Fund for Environmental Ethics and Values
The first two awards have been given to students from this newly established UEP fund
UEP Graduate Students Paulina Casasola Mena and Ashanee Kottage recevied the first awards from the Sheldon Krimsky Fund for Environmental Ethics and Values. The Fund was established in honor of Dr. Sheldon Krimsky, who was a UEP founding member, former professor, and beloved colleague. Paulina Casasola Mena received funding to support research on the community care experiences of women during the COVID-19 pandemic. Ashanee Kottage received funding to support a research project on tourism and gentrification in Sri Lanka.
