Biography

Magaly Koch is a geologist specializing in the application of remote sensing and geographic information systems in the study of groundwater resources and environmental change of arid lands. She is particularly interested in projects addressing global water scarcity and flooding problems as related to extreme weather conditions through an interdisciplinary approach. In recent years she has become interested in studying climate impact on coastal zones and earthquake related hazards.
