Erica Walker

Biography:
Erica Walker, MSc, ScD is a post-doctoral fellow at BU School of Public Health. She is an exposure assessment scientist and environmental epidemiologist with over 10 years of expertise in the area of environmental noise. She has published, lectured, and testified extensively on the community health impacts of low and high frequency sound. Dr. Walker is also the founder of Noise and the City, a community noise advocacy organization, where she developed The Greater Boston Neighborhood Noise survey, released Greater Boston's first interactive community noise report, created the NoiseScore smart phone application, and pioneered the nation's first Neighborhood Noise Report Cards.
