Lecturer Position Available Fall 2021
The Women's, Gender, and Sexuality Program at Tufts University is seeking a part-time lecturer to teach Doing Feminist Research: Issues, Methodologies, Practice (WGSS 190) during the upcoming fall semester 2021.

Hilary Binda, AG03, founding director of the Tufts University Prison Initiative of the Tisch College of Civic Life, has been recognized by Medium for the course she teaches in prison. Mass Incarceration and the Literature of Confinement was ranked number two of seventeen "most innovative" classes of 2019-2020. The courses uses an “inside-out” model, with Tufts students taking the literature class alongside incarcerated individuals at a medium-security prison.

The Faculty Committee of the Program in Women’s Gender, and Sexuality Studies is dedicated to the scholarship and teaching in service of the struggle toward equity, safety, and justice for all people and our planet. Women's, Gender, and Sexuality Studies is an interdisciplinary program that focuses on research and teaching in three overlapping fields of inquiry.

The Program offers a number of interdisciplinary courses, including introductory courses and special topics courses open to all undergraduates; in addition, it brings together a wide range of courses taught in different departments and programs, each contributing a unique approach to specific topics and materials within the broad and diverse study of women, gender, and sexuality.
