I am always interested in receiving inquiries from those interested in exploring plant responses to Global Change Biology from a disciplinary or interdisciplinary perspective. However, I don’t have funding currently, so individuals would need to bring their own funding.
For Graduate Students
I am not currently recruiting graduate students.
For Undergraduate Students
We welcome inquiries from any undergraduate students who are looking to try out research in plant ecology. Many students conduct research projects in our lab for academic course credit or over the summer. For academic credit student begin with the 93/94 and then advance to Bio193/194 (see course description).
We also have openings for work-study and volunteer positions during the academic year and summers. If you're interested, please email Dr. Orians in advance with a description of your biology background, main area of interest, your unofficial transcript, and a brief resume.
