Biography

Philip Gay is a project manager within the Department of Education and also supports online learning initiatives as part of the TTS Ed Tech team. His responsibilities include producing and editing new video media content to support the department’s social media and web presence. He also assists faculty and students with the use of video production technologies. His current projects include a series on Student and Alumni voices and is working to develop sample interactive course modules for prospective students. Philip also works with CELT and has produced a series, in collaboration with David Hammer, on Student Centered Teaching and Virtual Classroom Visits. He is also creating video content for on online doctoral degree program in Physical Therapy and a course on Impact Investing for Urban and Environmental Policy and Planning.

Prior to his fifteen plus years at Tufts, Philip produced and directed programs for WGBH and Public Television. This work included professional development videos for best practices in teaching and learning. National production credits include Antiques Roadshow and Championship Ballroom Dancing. He also produced and directed documentary features with a focus on the performing arts and Native American culture.
