Prospective Students
Welcome to the Department of Education
The Department of Education is a vibrant, interdisciplinary community dedicated to professional practice, applied research, and preparing our students for a variety of careers in education and related fields. Much of our work focuses on K-12 schools, but we study education in many other contexts as well.
Undergraduate Program
The department offers a major and a minor in Education. The major is a co-major only and requires 10 courses that lead to a Bachelor of Arts in Education. The minor requires five courses. Both programs are flexible allowing for students to work with their advisor to develop a program of study that meets their interests.
Graduate Programs
The department offers a variety of Education graduate programs.
