Biography

Dalia Habib Linssen is the Director of Academic Engagement at the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, and serves as an adjunct faculty member in the Department of Education at Tufts University. Her research focuses on art education, museum studies, cultural heritage, and object-based learning across disciplines. Dalia has taught at the Rhode Island School of Design in Providence and held positions in museums such as the Walker Art Center in Minneapolis and the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art. She is a recipient of RISD's John R. Frazier Award for Excellence in Teaching. Dalia serves on the Education subgroup for Held in Trust, a partnership between the National Endowment for the Humanities and the American Institute for Conservation focused on cultural heritage and preservation. She holds a B.A. in English and Art History from the University of Texas at Austin; a certificate in Museum Studies, and an M.A. and Ph.D. in Art History from Boston University.
