Tufts Student is awarded the prestigious John and Daria Barry Scholarship

Tufts Senior Trent Bunker has won a John and Daria Barry Scholarship to study at Oxford University. The Barry Scholarship is awarded to leading students of the United States in recognition of their dedication to the pursuit of truth. Bunker is graduating with a BA in Political Science and History, where his research has centered on the interplay between faith, politics, and the law. Bunker founded the Tufts Tribune, a publication dedicated to publishing diverse perspectives, and established a Federalist Society chapter on campus, hosting dialogues between academics and students. He also held a fellowship with the Hertog Foundation, interned on Capitol Hill, and conducted research for multiple law firms. Through the Barry Scholarship, he will read the MPhil in Intellectual History at Queen’s College, University of Oxford. After completing his MPhil, Bunker will attend Harvard Law School.
