Biography

Dr. Queen is a clinical psychologist and Senior Lecturer in the psychology department. He received his PhD in clinical psychology from the University of Miami and his undergraduate degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He completed his predoctoral clinical internship and postdoctoral clinical fellowship at the May Institute in Randolph, MA. In addition to his academic roles, he is a licensed psychologist in private practice, where he provides individual psychotherapy for a wide range of mental health concerns. His specific areas of interest include anxiety and depressive disorders in children and adults.

Dr. Queen primarily teaches courses within the Clinical Psychology major, including Psychological Evaluation and Treatment and the Senior Capstone in Clinical Psychology. He also coordinates internships for seniors completing their clinical capstone. Dr. Queen is the faculty advisor for the Psi Chi Honor Society chapter at Tufts.

In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his two daughters and competes in powerlifting.
