Biography

Nicole DeTore, PhD, is a part-time Instructor in the Tufts Psychology Department and an Assistant Professor at Massachusetts General Hospital, Harvard Medical School. Dr. DeTore is a clinical psychologist whose clinical and research interests are focused on early identification and intervention of mental illnesses, social cognition, digital applications in mental health, and psychotic disorders including schizophrenia. She has a current NIMH funded K23 aimed at developing and testing a group-based intervention in adolescents at risk for a severe mental illness, and has published in several journals such as JAMA Network Open, Schizophrenia Bulletin, and Psychological Medicine. At Tufts, she has taught PSY196-07 Early Identification and Prevention of Psychopathology and PSY12 Psychopathology.
