Abigail Sullivan

Biography

Abby earned her MS in neuroscience from Tulane University in 2021. During her time there, she studied the long-term effects of two brief parenting interventions on promoting positive parenting outcomes. After graduation, Abby worked as a research assistant at the Olin Neuropsychiatry Research Center where she worked on a study assessing the efficacy of a novel executive working memory training for adolescents with ADHD.

Area of study: Clinical Psychology
Current Research: Abby is using fMRI to investigate how memory reactivation paired with cognitive restructuring can alter neural representations of social anxiety memories and reduce negative memory-related feelings.  
Future Plans: Continue to build new skills and contribute to translational research!
