The Francophone House: Maison francophone 

Living at the Francophone House allows you to speak French daily in an informal setting. The Francophone House also provides a diverse environment conducive to intercultural communication. There are many opportunities to share meals, join conversations, engage in activities, or just chill. Once a month, residents design and host francophone events that are open to the wider Tufts community.

Located at 11 Whitfield Road, this Victorian triple-decker has six single rooms that typically accommodate four seniors or juniors not planning to study abroad and two graduate exchange students from the University of Paris. On the top floor, there are also two double rooms open to all applicants.

The Francophone House is ideal for seniors returning from a semester or year abroad, and for sophomores preparing to go to a Francophone country. All residents must be comfortable in the language with a level of proficiency equal to that of FR-22.
