Juanita Asapokhai
Juanita Asapokhai (she/her) is a junior majoring in Sociology and Community Health. She is interested in studying youth culture, media studies, and religion/spirituality from a sociological perspective. Her favorite sociology class has been Sociological Theory.

Nayun Eom
Nayun Eom (she/her) is a senior majoring in Sociology (Data Analysis and Interpretation Cluster) and Economics with a minor in Science, Technology, and Society. She is interested in using interdisciplinary research methods and theories to regulate the information tech industry. Her favorite Sociology classes are Sociology of Emotions and Qualitative Research Methods.

Claire Yujie Ji
Claire Yujie Ji (she/her) is a senior double majoring in Sociology and International Relations with a minor in Spanish. Her academic interests are 20th-century historical sociology and political sociology with a main focus on global socialist/communist revolutions and state-sponsored violence, Marxist sociology, women and gender studies, East Asian popular culture, and STS (science, technology, and society). She’s passionate about using content analysis, qualitative research methods, and oral histories to restore lost voices in human history. Claire’s favorite Sociology classes are Sociological Theory, Asian Americans in Education, Sociology of Emotions, and Latin American Society.

Lauren Pollak
Lauren Pollak (she/her) is a senior majoring in Sociology and Psychology with a minor in Child Study and Human Development. She is interested in race and ethnicity studies as well as design/user experience research. Her favorite Sociology classes are Sociology of Latinx and Sociology of Culture.

Elizabeth Sullivan
Elizabeth Sullivan (she/her) is a junior majoring in sociology (with a Social Inequalities and Social Change Cluster) and civic studies. She is interested in violence and extremism as well as media studies. Her favorite sociology classes have been Sociology of Violence and Media and Society.

Billy Zeng
Billy Zeng (he/him) is a sophomore from Malden, MA double majoring in Sociology (focusing on the Globalization, Transnationalism, & Immigration cluster) & RCD (Race, Colonialism, & Diaspora) Studies with a minor in History. Billy is interested in centering and empowering community voices in social policy research to bridge the gap between sociological theory and practice. Additionally, he is fascinated with work regarding social movements, English imperialism, and non-US societies, especially within Asia and Latin America. His favorite Sociology class has been Sociology of Asian Americans with Professor Adrian Cruz.
