The Connected Corpus collection

A new Tufts project is helping readers engage with Ancient Greek and Roman philosophy
Connected Corpus

Associate Professor of Philosophy Christiana Olfert (with assistant editors Corinne Gartner and Adele Watkins at Wellesley College) has launched a new project called The Connected Corpus: a first-of-its-kind collection of annotated digital texts that helps readers engage with Ancient Greek and Roman philosophy in a new way. Its curated annotations describe philosophical connections between different Ancient texts and authors, and they connect the reader to those texts in translation and the original language. In a collaborative effort between Tufts philosophy students and over 100 contributors from 6 institutions, the first annotated edition of Plato's Republic has been published with funding from Tufts Springboard Awards and Wellesley College's Knapp Social Science Center.
