Tufts Student Group Recognized by The Society of Physics Students
The national organization awarded Tufts students their highest distinction
The Tufts University Chapter of the Society of Physics Students (SPS) has been recognized by the Society as a 2023-2024 Outstanding Chapter. This is the highest level of distinction given to chapters by the Society and a recognition achieved by less than 15% of chapters. Chapters are recognized for their work in several areas, including involvement in SPS meetings, participation in SPS programs, outreach to the grades K-12 students and the general public, participation in community service, contributions to student recruitment, participation in social events, and involvement with the alumni.
