Certificate in GIScience
The GIScience Certificate focuses on principles of Geographic Information Science, spatial analysis, spatial data management and cartographic design. Individuals gain skills in relevant software applications including ArcGIS. The certificate requires completion of two required courses and two electives. It is designed for working professionals, graduate students and post-baccalaureate students. If accepted into a master’s program, the credits earned toward the certificate can be counted toward several different master’s program in the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences as applicable. The program consists of a hybrid mixture of in-person and on-line courses.
Certificate in Spatial Data Analytics
The Spatial Data Analytics Certificate focuses on spatial analysis, geospatial modeling and visualization, and advanced coding and statistical methods. It is designed for working professionals, graduate students and post-baccalaureate students. The certificate requires completion of three required courses and one elective. If accepted into a master’s program, the credits earned toward the completion of the certificate will automatically be counted toward several different master’s program in the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences as applicable. The program consists of a hybrid mixture of in-person and on-line courses.
