MS Application Requirements

Qualified applicants should have strong recommendations and have completed undergraduate-level coursework in: Statistics, Calculus I and II, and an introductory programming course (or equivalent experience). Visit our Data Analytics FAQs to learn more.

Students will need to submit the following as part of their application: 

  • Application fee
  • Resume/CV
  • Personal Statement
  • Official GRE or GMAT scores (if applicable)
    • GRE General Test scores not required for applicants who will have received a degree from a U.S. or Canadian institution by time of enrollment. GRE or GMAT scores required for all other applicants.
  • Official TOEFL, IELTS, or Duolingo English Test scores, if applicable
  • Transcripts
  • Three letters of recommendation

All students—including international students—who apply to the program and request consideration for aid are eligible to receive tuition scholarships. The vast majority of GSAS students receive at least some merit-based financial aid.
