Biography

Jeffrey Zabel is a Professor of Economics and Director of the MS Program in Data Analytics at Tufts University. He received his Ph.D. from the University of California at San Diego in 1987 where he focused on econometric theory. His research applies his econometric knowledge to the area of applied micro-economics with a particular interest in the fields of urban, housing, education, environmental, and labor economics. Professor Zabel is a co-editor of the Journal of Housing Economics, an Associate Editor at Regional Science and Urban Economics and on the Editorial Board of Real Estate Economics. He is a Fellow at the Weimer School of Advanced Studies in Real Estate, a Research Affiliate at the Institute for Education and Social Policy, New York University, and Board Member of the Boston Research Data Center (BRDC).
