Ten-Year Celebration and Fundraising Initiative

A Decade of Impactful Internships and Strong Partnerships
Students going to class in Joyce Cummings Center

The CJ Saraceno Memorial Scholarship is celebrating its tenth anniversary. Over the past decade, it has provided valuable internship opportunities in Los Angeles to students who might not have otherwise had the chance during their college years. Bona Fide Productions has been actively involved throughout this period, contributing significantly to this meaningful initiative. For ten years, alumni and current students have been building relationships and networking based on their shared Saraceno internship experience.

On Tuesday, November 7, in Los Angeles, the Tufts film community gathered to screen Bona Fide Productions' "Somewhere in Queens," followed by a Q&A with writer/director Ray Romano, facilitated by Tasha Oren, Tufts Film and Media Studies Program Director. Oren also discussed the impact of the Saraceno program on students over the past decade. Bona Fide Productions generously hosts the yearly internship funded by the scholarship. The fundraising event successfully raised funds to ensure the program continues for another ten years! To learn more about the scholarship, watch our video on YouTube.
