
Editing Lab, LL32
The FMS editing lab is a community space for FMS and SMFA students, faculty, and staff to use for classes, film editing, and general computer lab needs.
Film and Media Studies is home to a variety of work spaces and rooms located in Barnum Hall, which is located at 163 Packard Avenue.
Barnum is usually open during the following hours, and access is restricted outside of these times. The building is closed on University Holidays and hours may vary during recesses and final exam periods.
Please note: students with swipe access to the FMS spaces can enter Barnum Hall after hours.
The FMS editing lab is a community space for FMS and SMFA students, faculty, and staff to use for classes, film editing, and general computer lab needs.
The two FMS finishing studios are studios equipped for film and sound editing and are primarily used for extensive FMS and SMFA film productions, such as the senior honors thesis.
The film studio is available to students currently taking FMS production classes and FMS film and media faculty, staff, and students working on media projects.
The green room studio is available to students currently taking FMS production classes and FMS film and media faculty, staff, and students working on media projects.
The FMS seminar room can be used for classes, workshops, and other events.
The FMS Cinema/Auditorium is our state-of-the-art film screening space.
FMS offers film equipment to students taking specific FMS production classes or extensive FMS film projects.
Our new FMS meeting space offers a space for faculty, staff, and student collaboration.
