Biography
Gina O’Connor earned her BS in Business Administration from Northeastern University and worked for many years in higher education publishing at Houghton Mifflin in Boston. Previously, she served as the Staff Assistant in the Department of Theatre, Dance, and Performance Studies at Tufts. Since Fall 2018, Gina has been the Program Administrator for the Film and Media Studies (FMS) program, overseeing program administration, event planning, marketing, social media, and web content. Gina is the friendly face behind the FMS program’s student support. Known for her helpful guidance and ever-present bowl of candy, she brings a welcoming touch to the FMS office. In addition to her role at Tufts, freelances as a communications specialist, supporting local theatre organizations by crafting email campaigns, marketing materials, and developing social media and web content. Gina brings a passion for the arts and a commitment to community engagement to all her endeavors.
