Biography

Professor Bianconi's current main fields of research are financial economics and applied econometrics. His academic work has appeared in several professional journals and books including European Economic Review, Journal of Economic Dynamics and Control, Energy Economics and Journal of International Money and Finance among others. He is currently an associate editor of the International Review of Economics and Finance. His book entitled Financial Economics, Risk and Information, published by World Scientific Publishing Co., is in its second edition. Prof. Bianconi was elected and served as executive secretary of the International Economics and Finance Society (IEFS) and is currently a contributor to Seeking Alpha.
