Biography
Ratib Ali is a competition economist with a PhD from Boston College. His research agenda involves how government regulation informs firm incentives. His PhD thesis work focuses on the impact of antitrust policy and FAA regulations regarding slot control regimes on airline incentives at various US airports. His PhD work was funded by a grant from the Washington Center for Equitable Growth. Ratib currently is an economist with Competition Dynamics, having previously worked as an economist for The Brattle Group and the Massachusetts Attorney General's Office, Antitrust Division. Ratib has previously taught at Emerson College and Boston College, where he won the Donald White Teaching Award for Outstanding Teaching Fellow.
