Mysteries of the Mind

Professor of the Practice Don Schechter (A01, M03) directed the TEDxCambridge cinema world premiere – Mysteries of the Mind – in September 2022, at the New England Aquarium Simons Theatre. The show featured state-of-the-art virtual production filmmaking pioneered by Disney for Star Wars to create a truly immersive experience. The speaker talks and musical performance were inspired by how the mind shapes your perception of the world — and how the world can shape it back. TEDxCambridge mission is to produce unique, visually immersive experiences, allowing the audience to connect more profoundly with their speakers' pioneering ideas. Mysteries of the Mind was directed by Don Schechter and edited by Tufts alum Morgan Kleinberg (A20). Don is the founder of Charles River Media Group and currently teaches Film and Media Production I and From Script to Screen.
