Minor in Russian
The Minor in Russian offers a strong foundation in the Russian language and introduces students to Russian culture through literature and film.

Program Requirements and Policies
- 6 courses are required for the Minor in Russian.
- Minor Forms, once submitted, will be sent to the Program Director, Greg Carleton, for approval. After it has been approved, you will receive a copy of the approved form. Submit the approved checklist along with your Student Degree Audit and any additional signed major and /or minor checklists to Student Services through the electronic submission portal.
- If substitutions are made, it is the student’s responsibility to make sure the substitutions are acceptable to the Department of International Literary & Cultural Studies.

Course Requirements
The Minor in Russian requires six courses as follows:
- Four courses above the intermediate level (Russian 3-4), which must include two courses in Russian at the 100 level.
- Two literature or culture courses in the Russian area.
