MS in Occupational Therapy (Post-Professional Master's)
The Post-Professional Master's is for occupational therapists with a bachelor’s degree in OT. As a student in the program, you’ll increase your knowledge of practice and evidence-based research and strengthen your skills in a specific area of practice. This program can be completed either full-time or on a part-time basis for working professionals. You have the option of completing a certificate program while enrolled as a master’s student. (Note: International students must complete the program on a full-time basis due to visa restrictions.)
Program Requirements and Policies
- The Post-Professional Master's is available in two tracks:
- MS in OT; no advanced professional certificate
- MS in OT and advanced professional certificate
- Both tracks are 30-credit programs.
- Both tracks have Fall entry for all students. Spring entry is only available for domestic applicants.

Fall Semester (16 credits)
- Required: OTS 208: Critical Reasoning IV: EPB (3 credits)
- Required: OTS 234: Integrative Seminar (2 credits)
- Required: OTS 226: OT Practice in Pediatrics or OTS 229: OT Practice with Older Adults (5 credits)
- Required: 2 Electives (6 credits)
Spring Semester (14 credits)
- Required: OTS 209: Clinical Research (3 credits)
- Required: OTS 235: Integrative Seminar II (3 credits)
- Required: OTS 224: OT Practice in Physical Dysfunction or 227: OT Practice in Psychosocial Dysfunction (5 credits)
- Required: 1 Elective (3 credits)
