Biography

Amber LaMarca PT,DPT, PhD is an assistant teaching professor at Tufts University in the Occupational Therapy Department. She has her PhD in Rehabilitation Sciences from the MGH Institute of Health Professions and her clinical doctorate of physical therapy from Northeastern University. Amber LaMarca PT,DPT, PhD is an assistant teaching professor at Tufts University in the Occupational Therapy Department. She has her PhD in Rehabilitation Sciences from the MGH Institute of Health Professions and her clinical doctorate of physical therapy from Northeastern University. Her research interests include activity promotion for individuals with neurological conditions and the intersection of behavior change, rehabilitation technology, and neurorehabilitation. She also is a physical therapist with extensive experience in neurorehabilitation and care of individuals across the lifespan. She is also passionate about advocacy and advancement in rehabilitation professions and is the chair of the Neurology Special Interest Group of the American Physical Therapy Massachusetts Chapter,
