Graduate Studies in Architecture
Tufts Architectural Studies Majors interested in pursuing graduate professional training in architecture are eligible for MArch. Most professional first-degree programs can take 3.5 years to complete. Admissions requirements are typically a portfolio of artwork (not necessarily architectural), history of architecture coursework, a semester of calculus (Math 11), a semester of physics (Physics 11), and the GRE exam. Each school has its own specific graduate programs and requirements, which should be consulted individually.
Guides to the profession can be found at Tisch Library, including Becoming an Architect; Becoming an Urban Planner; Becoming a Landscape Architect; and Becoming a Green Building Professional.
