I am a microbiologist working across departments and universities to advance research, education, and outreach. My primary research interests are bacteriophages of marine and soil bacteria. These interests extend from the basic biology of phage-host interactions to putative phage therapies, and likewise include the use of bacteriophages as a teaching tool during course-based undergraduate research experiences.
