Joint BSE in Architectural Studies

The Bachelor of Science in Engineering (BSE) in Architectural Studies is offered jointly with the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering in Tufts' School of Engineering.

This major is based upon the Architectural Studies Major (a BA degree) but with fewer electives and a greater emphasis on math and science coursework to fulfill a BSE degree. Both programs prepare students for graduate study and/or professional careers in the field of architecture, and focus on the historical, aesthetic, and engineering aspects of buildings and other structures.
