Research/Areas of Interest
My research interests fall under an umbrella of Ecological Systems and Dynamics and the specific subjects of my interest are usually underwater. I work primarily quantitatively and computationally towards understanding change over time in populations, communities, and trophic systems; studying how we affect change over time in these systems through restoration and human activities; and how we can accommodate change over time in management and ocean planning. I'm particularly interested in pushing the envelope of the tools we use to answer these questions as we go about answering them with especial focus on time-series analysis and spatio-temporal data science.
