A Celebration of 50 Years of UEP

Since 1973, UEP has been growing a community of students, alumni and friends who are committed to fostering social justice and sustainability in today’s world of complex and inter-related challenges. In April 2024, we celebrated our 50th anniversary at the Boston Museum of Science. This event included guest speakers as well as an opportunity to connect with old and new friends.

Remembering Dr. Sheldon Krimsky
We welcome you to remember one of the founding members of the UEP department, Dr. Sheldon Krimsky. As an internationally known scholar, activist, and educator, he was dedicated to his fellow colleagues, students, family and dear friends. A professor at UEP for more than 47 years, Shelly Krimsky was a beloved member of our community who sadly passed away in the spring of 2022. He is greatly missed. We encourage you to learn more about Shelly or donate to his Fund for Environmental Ethics.
